Dr.
David E. Hankins received his B.S. degree in
microbiology from the University of Central Florida,
where he was elected to membership in the Beta Beta
Beta National Biological Honor Society.
He later received his doctor of optometry degree from
Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tn., where
he graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric
Honor Society.

Subsequent to graduation from Optometry school, he completed
a clinical residency at Memphis Health Center and supervised
clinical training of optometry students in the pathology
department of the Southern College of Optometry.
After an additional year as a staff doctor of an opthalmologic
group, Dr. Hankins returned to Central Florida and established
Tuskawilla Family Eyecare in 1984.

Sherry Appolloni is a Florida Licensed Optician. She
has been in the optical field since 1972. She is a fellow
of the National Academy of Opticianry. Originally from
Colorado, Sherry moved to Florida in 1982.

Laura Muhlenforth is the insurance specialist/patient
care and account coordinator. She has been with Dr.
Hankins since 1999.
